IN MEMORY OF A PROMINENT SCIENTIST, EDUCATOR AND ORGANIZER (To the 120th anni-versary of the birth of Gadzhibek Akhmedkhanovich Gadzhibekov)

The article of the leading researcher of the Department of Lexicology and Lexicography, Candidate of Philology S. B. Yuzbekova is dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of Gadzhibek Akhmedkhanovich Gadzhibekov (1902–1941), a talented Lezghin linguist, journalist and literary critic, who created writing based on Latin graphics for the Lezghin and Tabasaran peoples, textbooks for schools, who headed the first Dagestan Research Institute, which is now called the Institute of Language, Literature and Art.
