The article provides an analysis of the elegy-cry dedicated to the scientist and enlightener Ismaildibir from Shulani. The peculiarity of poetics, symbolic designations, realistic details are considered. For the first time the Ajam text of the elegy and its translation into Cyrillic is presented.
