SCULPTURE OF KHAS-BULAT ASKAR-SARYDZHA IN THE COLLECTION OF THE DAGESTAN MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS NAMED AFTER P. S. GAMZATOVA

The article presents an overview analysis of the types and genres of the creative heritage of the first profes-sional sculptor of Dagestan Khas-Bulat Askar-Sarydzha (1900–1982), carried out on the basis of the works stored in the collection of the Dagestan Museum of Fine Arts named after P. S. Gamzatova. Based on these works, the author identifies the main characteristic features of the creative style of Khas-Bulat Askar-Sarydzha in the refraction of the traditions of the classical heritage and the Russian realistic school.
