PROBLEMS OF AREAL RESEARCHES OF THE EASTERN CAUCASIAN LANGUAGE UNION

Exposure and description of areal and genetic features of East Caucasian languages, studied in the article, allow defining chronologic limits in which there were processes of interactions and interinfluence of numerous kindred and non-kindred languages, widespread in the territory of the East Caucasus. At first, for solving this problem, the creation of the most complete list of structural features, pretending on their qualification as common East Caucasian ones, is necessary.
