The article is devoted to the study of the graphic art of Dagestan in the 1970s. The basis of the studied materi-al is the printed graphics, which most vividly and multifacetedly reflected the advanced phenomena of this type of art. The formation of creative directions and styles is analyzed, their characteristic features in the context of historical development and problems of artistic synthesis are systematized.
