ACADEMIC PERIOD IN THE CREATIVITY OF GALINA PSHENITSYNA

The article considers paintings and graphic works of the famous Dagestan artist Galina Pshenitsyna, relating to the period of her studies at the Academy of Arts named after I. E. Repin in (1959–1965). The significance of this period is determined by the level of the professional foundations of realistic art that she received. There are revealed the specific aspects of artistic skills, which determined the author's characteristic and individual handwriting at subsequent stages of creative growth.
